A 30-year-old man from Fredericton, N.B., has been charged in connection with an investigation into child pornography.
The investigation, led by the New Brunswick RCMP’s Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit, began in July 2024, following information received from the RCMP’s National Child Exploitation Crime Centre.
On September 24, 2024, members of the New Brunswick RCMP ICE Unit, members of the Fredericton Police Force and the RCMP’s Digital Forensic Services, executed a search warrant at a residence in Fredericton, N.B. A 30-year-old man was arrested at the scene, and police seized several electronic devices as part of their investigation. He was later released on conditions, pending a future court appearance.
On February 10, 2025, Brady Matthew Worden was charged with possession of child pornography, transmission of child pornography, and breach of his order of prohibition.
Brady Matthew Worden is scheduled to return to court on February 25, 2025.
The New Brunswick RCMP’s Internet Child Exploitation Unit includes members from the Saint John Police Force and the Kennebecasis Regional Police Force.
