Kaetlyn Osmond, a native of Marystown, has been inducted into the 2025 Hall of Fame of Skate Canada.
The three-time Olympian and two-time world champion skater is the latest in a long line of prominent Canadian skaters, the most of whom are well-known.
Osmond won gold and silver medals at the winter Olympics and placed on the podium in every competition she participated in in 2018. Her gold medal at the 2018 World Championships was Canada’s first since Karen Magnussen took home the trophy in 1973.
