RCMP seeking public’s help following three arsons

The Doaktown RCMP is seeking the public’s help in connection with three arsons in the Doaktown, N.B. region. 

On March 24, 2025, at approximately 3:30 a.m., members of the Doaktown RCMP responded to a report of a fire at an abandoned residence on Carrolls Crossing Road, in Carrolls Crossing. 

On April 4, 2025, at approximately 3 a.m., members of the Doaktown RCMP responded to a report of a fire at an abandoned residence, on Bettsburg Road, in Bettsburg.  

On April 8, 2025, at approximately 4 a.m., members of the Doaktown RCMP responded to a report of a fire at an abandoned residence on Main Street, in Doaktown. 

Throughout the investigation, it was determined that the fires had been intentionally set and are believed to be related. No one was injured at the time of the fires. 

A member of the Office of the New Brunswick Fire Marshal is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
