Regulator using interrupter to change diesel prices in Nova Scotia

Nova Scotia’s Utility and Review Board will be making an unscheduled change to diesel prices at midnight on Wednesday.

The regulator says it will be using its interrupter mechanism to make the change “due to significant shifts in the market price of diesel oil”.

Typically prices changes are made on Fridays in Nova Scotia.

The UARB did not say what the change to diesel prices would be, but did say gasoline prices would not be affected by the interruption.
