Three individuals have been charged following a joint investigation by Calgary and Edmonton police into a provincial drug trafficking network.

The investigation began in March 2025, when Calgary’s District 4 Operations Team started looking into a suspect believed to be involved in drug trafficking. Officers later identified additional individuals allegedly distributing drugs in both Calgary and Edmonton.

On March 15, two people were arrested at a residence on Sovereign Common SW, located west of Crowchild Trail.

During a search of the home, police seized approximately 12 kilograms of drugs, $30,000 in cash, and luxury items including high-end jewelry and designer handbags, which investigators believe were purchased with proceeds from drug trafficking.
